This large Maori Fish Hook Trophy would be great on awards night, or simply to grace your home.  Also perfect to mark a special birthday, as a leaving or retirement gift, or to celebrate a special occasion, as the base can be engraved.

The Maori Fish Hook design carries a spiritual meaning, one of peace, prosperity and good health, as well as safe travel over water.  A great trophy award for a gamefishing club, boating club, etc.  Also a nice piece to sit on your mantlepiece or shelf to remind you of New Zealand.

The trophy is NZ Made, and measures approximately 40cm (15 3/4") tall.  Made from South Island pinus radiata.  Carved on the front only.  Paua embellishment is in the lower carving, and paua shell is also used for the eye of the hook.

If you would like the base engraved with a gold plaque, select that option on this page, and then a box will open up to enter your engraving details.  Up to 8 words allowed.  Please note that an engraved trophy cannot be returned, apart from the unlikely event that we get the engraving wrong.  Allow 4 days for engraving to be done.  The base can also engraving into the wooden base.  And it can have paua engraving, but only up to 18 characters, and they must be in CAPITALS.
