Eagle Industries is one of the most prolific manufacturers of anything MOLLE. From pouches to plate carriers to packs, countless examples of their products have been fielded and abused by special forces such as the Navy SEALs for decades, and many of their designs remain ever-relevant and currently deployed. They're prominently known for their no-BS pouch design that scraps gimmicks in favor of durability and no-nonsense usage, and it's for that reason that we like their stuff a lot.

This in particular is their 40mm pouch. Designed to hold 40mm HE/DP/Illum rounds for the M203, you might be scratching your head as you might not be lucky enough to own a grenade launcher. Well, for those of us who don't have cool toys, these actually make for nice little general-purpose pouches for smaller items. Double-stack pistol magazines, multitools, and even a little Garmin GPS all fit snugly where the noob tube ammo would usually sit.

In this batch, we noticed a couple different pouch designs, so we separated them out in case you have a preference: 

'TYPE 1' is a barebones design, with a simple Cordura pouch and hook/loop flap. 

'TYPE 2' features A hook and loop flap with a stretchy elastic bottom strap, and extra snaps on the hook and loop flaps for more security.

Simply weave on the straps like you would with any MOLLE accessory, secure it closed with snaps, and as your dad would say after tightening down the Christmas tree on the roof of his SUV, "That's not going anywhere". And EI's quality construction ensures you can really beat the snot out of it without having to worry.

Whether it lives on the outside of your pack or on the cummerbund of your plate carrier, it's a lightweight, zero BS addition to give you more versatility and storage space.
